Voting for the Film Critics Association UK’s 2025 Awards is now open. Votes must be submitted by 5pm on Monday 15th December

Release Date
Films must have been released in the UK between January 1st 2025, and December 15th 2025.
Distribution Requirements
The film must have had at least one of the following:
• A theatrical or festival release in the UK
• A release on a streaming platform available for public access within the 2025 calendar year.
Minimum Runtime
•Feature-length films must run 40 minutes or longer to be eligible.
Originality
Films must be original works or adaptations, not re-edited re-releases of prior works. Director’s cuts of previously released films are not eligible unless the cut qualifies as a substantially new version.
Geographic Scope
•Films from all countries are eligible, provided they meet the release and distribution criteria.
Exclusions
Films intended primarily for television or web series are ineligible unless released as standalone feature films.
Short films under 40 minutes are not eligible for feature categories.
These criteria ensure that only films released during 2025 are considered for recognition, maintaining a fair and consistent evaluation process.
